Warren County Veterans Recognition Program

The County of Warren conducts the “Warren County Veterans Recognition Program” in which honorably discharged veterans who served during wartime are eligible to receive the “Warren County Distinguished Military Service” medal from the Board of County Commissioners.

Veterans living and deceased are honored. The registration form can be submitted by the veteran or by someone else on behalf of a veteran, living or deceased. Warren County Distinguished Military Service medals are presented to veterans at ceremonies held periodically, typically once a year, outdoors, at the Warren County War Memorial next to the Courthouse in Belvidere, NJ.
